UMW Young Democrats

The University of Mary Washington Young Democrats’ kicked off campaign season with over 20 canvassers invading Stafford county to support Laura Sellers and the Democratic ticket last Saturday. Sellers is running for Stafford County Board of Supervisors and is currently one of a handful of VA Young Dem’s running for office.

MWYD’s knocked on doors for a combined total of 40 hours, talking with voters about her race and the state-wide Democratic ticket. Their efforts were a part of a broader campaign initiative across Virginia Saturday. Local VAYD chapters “invaded” several smaller district races where their numbers are sure to make a difference.
